The position of State Tested Nursing Assistant exists to provide routine nursing and personal care for residents.

STNA job responsibilities include:

• Ensure that residents’ personal care needs are provided for with an emphasis on quality, compassion, and timeliness.
• Ensure that residents’ medical needs are addressed through the delivery of quality nursing care.
• Maintain physical environment in a clean, safe, and pleasant manner.
• Ensure that nutritional needs of residents are met in accordance with established care plan.
• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested

The STNA must be physically able to:

• Move (sit, stand, bend, lift) intermittently throughout the workday.
• Lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Assist in the evacuation of residents.

STNA Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• STNA Certification in state of Ohio
• Previous Long Term Care experience
• Must have a good work history

LPN’s will provide quality nursing care to our patients and family needs; working under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

LPN Requirements

• Registered LPN with Ohio License and a minimum of one year of LPN experience
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License
• Competency in information technology
• Evaluation skills sufficient to report to RN Case Manager clinical details to support patient needs and goals
• Documentation skills sufficient to record patient/family
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Required experience:

• LPN: 2 years

The ideal candidate is energetic, organized and has strong multitasking abilities. Housekeeping aides should be committed to learning and complying with osha standards for nursing homes. Candidates should be able and willing to help in any area of the housekeeping or laundry department as needed.

Housekeeping Responsibilities

• Complete daily cleaning schedule in accordance with facility policy.
• Follow and perform infection control procedures.
• Ensure all safety measures are used when housekeeping duties are being performed (e.g. Wet floor signs, chemicals are secured and labeled, etc.)
• Observe infection control procedures related to the housekeeping department.
• Follow osha regulations as they pertain to the housekeeping department.
• Assist with laundry duties

Qualifications for Housekeeping Aides

• Previous skilled nursing setting preferred.
• High school diploma or ged preferred, ability to read, speak and understand English.

Promotes and restores patients’ health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with patients, families, physicians, community resources and the general public.

Additional requirements for nursing include:

• Valid Ohio RN license
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience with the geriatric population
• Minimum 1 year managerial experience•Strong working knowledge of regulatory compliance and continuing care operations
